TODAY’S GUIDED SESSION
The first step
Ready when you are
00:00
A walking warm-up comes first.
GPS is off. Enable it below before starting.
Keep this page open and your screen unlocked. iPhone browsers may suspend GPS and spoken coaching when locked or in the background. Tracking gaps are not filled in, so distance may be understated.
MAKE IT YOURS
A fresh start, at your pace.
Allow location access when asked. GPS measures the whole session, including warm-up and walking; paused time is excluded. Coordinates are processed on this device and are not saved or sent to a map service.
Includes warm-up, interval changes, encouragement and cool-down.
Run at a pace where you can comfortably talk. These are optional sessions, not an automatic progression. Repeat an easy one, and leave a rest day between runs.
RUN HERE. RUN ANYWHERE.
Your next route, wherever you are.
At home or away? Pick a starting area, a distance and a route style. We’ll look for a route on mapped walking paths.
Your location stays off public pages.GPS is rounded to an area of roughly 1 km before route planning. Exact GPS coordinates are never sent to the route service. Home is saved as this approximate area on this browser only. Routes start near that area, not at your door. Nothing is shared with other Paceflare users.
Choose your starting area.
Find route sends only the rounded starting area and proposed waypoints to FOSSGIS routing. It can log requests and your IP address. There is no public location feed. Services may be unavailable or have limited map coverage.
Route shape · north up · not a street map. S = start, F = finish. No live location marker. Map data © OpenStreetMap contributors (ODbL).The map link shares only the approximate route start with OpenStreetMap. Review the start and full directions before setting out. Route suggestions do not confirm safety, lighting, access rights or current closures. One-way routes need a return plan. Loops may retrace some paths.

STRONGER BETWEEN RUNS
Train your way. Home or gym.
Build a supporting session around the equipment you actually have. Strength, easy cycling and mobility complement your runs.
Start with light resistance and controlled movements, leaving a few repetitions in reserve. Stop for pain or feeling unwell. Ask gym staff to demonstrate unfamiliar machines. These are general sessions, not injury rehabilitation or a personalised race plan.
GUIDED TRAINING
Repetition exercises wait for you to tap Done. Timed blocks advance automatically. Spoken coaching follows your voice setting. Keep this page open.
A balanced example week
An optional template: reduce days and duration to suit your current fitness. Avoid stacking hard leg sessions around hard runs; allow recovery between strength days. Repeat comfortable sessions before increasing load.
Training history
Strength and cycling are logged separately from running, so bike kilometres never inflate your run totals. Saved on this browser.
General exercise guidance: NHS strength and flexibility · Returning to running. Session sequences below are Paceflare’s own templates.
A CHANGE OF SCENERY
Local routes. A distance for every day.
Explore South Devon routes, then pair one with any timed coaching session. Published walking trails are route ideas, not checked running courses. Open the route guide for directions, access and current conditions.
Distances are approximate published route lengths, not GPS measurements. Coastal and estuary paths can be affected by weather, tides and closures. Check before setting out.
No route selected — you can run anywhere.
YOUR RUNNING JOURNAL
Every outing adds up.
Your log is private to this browser. No shared leaderboard or account is required. GPS distance is saved automatically when enabled; you can also enter or correct distances manually. Total time and pace include any walking or pauses in a manually logged outing.

MAKE YOUR NEXT ROUTE MORE ACCURATE
Planned distance vs your outing.
GPS distance can differ because of signal gaps, warm-up walking, detours or map data. Confirm a full route before saving a personal distance note.
Personal notes appear alongside the map estimate when you choose the same route again on this browser. They do not change the route geometry or public OpenStreetMap data, and are not shared with other runners. For a path error, use OpenStreetMap’s map correction process; review what you publish and avoid adding your home address or exact start.
YOUR PACEFLARE ACCOUNT
Your miles. Your space.
Use your own email and password; no ChatGPT account is needed. Supabase securely manages your account. Runs, training and approximate home remain on this browser, separated by account; they do not sync between devices. Guest records remain available when signed out. Deleting local records does not delete your login account.
HELP & SUPPORT
A little help to keep you moving.
How do I start my first run?
Choose a coaching session, test the voice, and optionally enable GPS. Wait for a usable GPS signal, then tap Start guided run. Walking intervals and warm-up count towards the measured outing. Start gently and repeat a comfortable session before progressing.
GPS or spoken coaching stops on my iPhone
Open the site in Safari, allow location when prompted, keep the page in the foreground and the screen unlocked. Check device volume and your headphones. Locking the screen, switching apps or power-saving settings can interrupt tracking and speech. This web app cannot guarantee background recording.
Why does the GPS distance differ from the map?
Map lengths are estimates. GPS drift, signal gaps, extra walking and detours affect recorded distance. Compare the planned and recorded values in Run log. Save a personal distance note only after checking a full-route measurement without gaps. Public maps are not automatically edited.
Can someone see my home or live location?
There is no public location feed. Home is saved only as an approximate area in this browser. Worldwide planning sends rounded coordinates and proposed waypoints to the route provider. Exact GPS tracking points are processed in memory and are not saved in the run log.
Why does a worldwide route start away from me?
We round the starting area to protect your exact location, then use nearby mapped walking paths. Review the route start before leaving. The requested distance is a target; available paths determine the actual length. Loops may retrace sections, and one-way routes need a return plan.
I forgot my password or need to confirm my email
Open Account, choose Forgot password, and enter your email. Open the latest reset link in your inbox, then set a new password of at least 12 characters. Use Resend confirmation email if needed. Check spam. Expired links need to be requested again. If email delivery is unavailable, contact the app owner.
Where is my history after signing in?
Guest and signed-in records are separate on this browser. Signing in does not import guest records or restore records from another device. Sign out to view existing guest history. Use Back up my data to download a copy of the current profile. Clearing browser storage removes local history.
How do I choose home or gym training?
Open Training, choose Home or Gym and your level, then choose strength, easy cross-training or mobility. At home, tick the equipment you own and tap Build my session. Follow equipment instructions and ask gym staff for help with unfamiliar machines. Training history is separate from run totals.
Route search is unavailable
Check your connection and try again later. Map and town-search services are external and may be busy or unavailable. A town may also lack suitable mapped paths. Try a different direction or nearby starting area.
Report a problem
Describe what happened and download a support report. Share it privately with the person who gave you this app. No staffed support inbox or automatic ticket service is currently connected.
The report includes app version, browser information and feature support. It excludes account identifiers, run history, home location and GPS coordinates. Your own description is included—review it before sharing.

Choose activity suited to your current fitness. If you have a health condition, injury or concerns about starting exercise, get appropriate professional advice. Stop exercising if you feel pain, faint, unwell or unusually breathless. Seek urgent local medical help for severe or worrying symptoms.
Routes, GPS & outdoor safety
Routes are generated from third-party mapping data and have not been inspected by Paceflare. They may include uneven surfaces, crossings, restricted access or paths affected by weather, tides and closures. Check access, conditions and the full route yourself; obey local signs and rules. GPS distances and pace are estimates. This app is not an emergency, rescue or guaranteed navigation service. Carry a suitable way to contact help.
Privacy notice
Email and password authentication is provided by Supabase. Your email, securely hashed password and authentication records are stored in the separate Paceflare project. Passwords pass securely to Supabase and are not retained in app logs or browser storage. Secure, HttpOnly cookies keep you signed in. Local workout records are separated using your verified account identifier; your workout history is not uploaded to an application database.
Runs, training, distance notes, preferences and approximate home are stored in this browser. GPS points are used in memory for distance calculation. Worldwide route planning rounds your starting coordinates before sending them to FOSSGIS, which may log the request and your IP address. Town searches send the entered town name to Open-Meteo. OpenStreetMap links contact OpenStreetMap when opened. Your browser’s speech service may use its provider’s online services.
There is no public leaderboard, public location feed, advertising tracker or analytics integration in this app. Hosting, sign-in and external providers have their own privacy policies and technical logs. Delete local app data using Account, remove location permissions in your browser settings, and contact the app owner for account deletion requests. Downloads stay under your control.
Service limits & use
Features rely on your device, internet connection and external services. Availability, route accuracy and uninterrupted recording are not guaranteed. Keep backups of important records. No paid subscription, staffed support response or cloud backup is offered in this version. The current free Open-Meteo town-search service is limited to non-commercial use; a commercial launch needs an appropriate service arrangement. Nothing in this information excludes rights that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.

COACH’S NOTE
Start with today’s fitness.
New to running or coming back after a break? Start gently and choose a session that suits your fitness today. Walking is always an option.
Stop if you feel unwell or develop pain, chest discomfort, dizziness or unusual breathlessness. If you have health concerns, check with a clinician before starting.
This coach uses timed sessions and spoken prompts, with optional GPS distance and average pace. It does not measure heart rate or provide turn-by-turn navigation.
